Last year was my first time attending MommyCon and I had the best time ever. Not only was it super educational for this first time mom, but it was fun, I met some great people and I bought a bunch of great stuff for my new little one. Once I got home I was already excited for the next year’s event! I compiled a list of reasons you need to go to MommyCon this year, so here they are!
Reasons you need to go to MommyCon!
1. Get Educated.
Mommycon offers a full day of sessions that are so useful, but not only are there amazing sessions but there are great vendors who are so knowledgable. All the vendors and speakers are full of information and are willing to share it with you. Don’t feel shy if you have a question!
2. Meet Amazing People
While at MommyCon I met some amazing people. Fellow mothers, educators, and all the vendors I spoke with were really nice! It’s all people coming together for the same reason so it’s great to meet and chit-chat with like-minded people. I even met my amazing chiropractor there!
3. It’s so much fun
MommyCon was hands down the best parenting event I have ever been to. I totally enjoyed myself and I was there from the very beginning to the very end. I didn’t want my day there to end! As all of you know I am super into natural parenting so this was right up my alley. I guarantee you will have an amazing time and will be on cloud 9 for days after the event!
4. Amazing Sessions
Last year the sessions were so amazing, I had the worst time trying to decide which ones to attend. This year, it’s hard to believe but they seem even more amazing! They have everything from sessions about cloth diapering, potty training, baby wearing, loving yourself, menstrual cups and more. As a first time mother the sessions were so helpful and I learned so much. Even if you aren’t a first time mom I guarantee you will learn something from one of the many amazing sessions they offer.
Pro Tip: Make sure to check the schedule before and plan out your day! Here’s a sneak peek at this years sessions:
Since by daughter is already showing signs that she is ready to start potty training, I will definitely be hitting up the potty training session! I also really want to go to “Peaceful Parenting 101,” I’m all about that and super excited to attend.
5. Shop till you drop
The shopping area is to die for. I LOVED everything there; the baby carriers, kitchenware, clothes, pacifiers and more! I’m telling you, you won’t leave there empty handed. I bought a kitchenware set for my daughter, a shirt, a teether, a teething necklace and a rainbow teether that attaches to the baby carrier. I walked though a bunch of times and swear I saw something new every time! Make sure you go through the shopping area!
I hope to see you all at MommyCon, I have a coupon code for my wonderful readers to use at checkout!
