My first Mother's Day! Disneyland & Baseball
Today was amazing. All my favorite things were wrapped up into about nine hours.
* My handsome husband
* My beautiful daughter
* Angels baseball
What more could I ever want? We started the morning off heading to the happiest place on earth. Crowded is an understatement, it was a madhouse. It was also the day of the runDisney Tinkerbell half marathon but by the time we got there the race was over and mostly cleaned up but the parking structure and downtown Disney was c-r-a-z-y. I loved seeing all the runners wearing their medals and hearing them clink around. Made me even more excited for my first ever runDisney 5K!
Anyways…check out the parking structure and the Downtown Disney side heading into the bag check. The line (if you can call it that) was crazy BUT, I am so thankful Disney takes security seriously and checks everyones bags and strollers thoroughly. Makes me feel safe at the happiest place on earth.
When I got into the park my daughter and I (hubby doesn’t have a pass so he hung out in Down town Disney) were greeted with this adorable Dumbo sign and a complimentary carnation for Mother’s Day. So, so, so sweet! Thank You Disneyland!
My little love and I went to all the pin stores looking for the 2016 Mother’s Day pin but sadly, they were all sold out so we took to the castle and had a few photos taken together. I feel so lucky and blessed to have such an amazing daughter.
I got a free “I’m Celebrating” button and we headed out and walked our way back to the parking structure like we always do (or to the Toy Story lot) and off to the Angels baseball game.
This was our little love’s first baseball game and our first game of the season plus it being my first Mother’s Day made it even more special. There was a beautiful Angels bag as the giveaway for the day so we got there a little early to make sure we got one.
It’s so funny the way things work sometimes. Our daughter is not much of a napper, she usually only naps about 15-20 minutes at a time but today of all days she decided to sleep about an hour and a half to two hours. She fell asleep before the first pitch then woke up in the sixth inning! Silly baby.
He was trying to get her on the smile cam haha, she is SO cute!
Although the Angels lost 3-1 to the Rays, it was still so much fun being at the game, we are a big time baseball family and we look forward to bringing our daughter to many more games and sharing our love for the Angels with her.
Today was an AMAZING day. I mean really, it was an even better day than I could have imagined. Heading to Disneyland AND going to an Angels game in one day, doesn’t get any better!
Happy Mother’s day to all you wonderful Mommy’s and Mr.Mom’s out there. I hope your day was amazing!
Thanks for reading! XOXO Love Always,
