Create your own First Aid Kit
We started Survival School a few weeks ago and I wanted to do a little post about our simple First Aid kit we made on the first day. As simple as it is, Zae had a great time putting it together and learning the purpose of each item. She's been carrying it around and is so proud of it, its adorable!
So the first thing you'll want to do is collect your supplies. We went very basic here and got just the essentials. The red container I actually got from the dollar tree years ago. They had packs of two for $1 in a variety of colors. I used my Silhouette machine to cut out the first aid cross to add to the lid of the container. Looks pretty legit if you ask me!
The rest of the items you can find at your local target, Walmart, or any drug store. The Neosporin "Neo to go" was perfect for our kit and fit perfectly inside the box.
My husband taught her the purpose of each item and together they put the kit together.
All of the items we put into our simple First Aid kit can be found at your local drug store, Target or Walmart but if you're wanting to buy online here are a few of the items you can purchase on amazon. These are affiliate links. I also included the upgraded machine from what I have that I used to cut the vinyl for the Red Cross cross. This machine is amazing and I use it all the time to customize different things!
Thanks for reading! I look forward to writing up more of our homeschool adventures for you guys to follow along. I hope youre all staying healthy and safe during these uncertain times. Wash your hands often, wear a mask, use hand sanitizer and practice social distancing.
