Baby Angel Progress- Week 37

Each week that goes by I get more and more uncomfortable and more and more ready for her to be here!  This week was another tough one, a lot of random pains and cramps (all normal), and zero sleep.  I know I will miss feeling her move around in there but at the same time I can’t wait for her to be here!  Today as I write this is day one of Week 38…week 38! WOW!  She will be here soon!

How far along?: 37 weeks starting on November 25th, 2015

Look at that belly!!! Looks so much bigger when I don’t have a shirt on to cover it up!  She’s running out of room in there.

Total weight gain/loss: skipping.

Maternity clothes? Yes, the leggings and the top I am wearing in the photo above are both from the maternity line at Target!

Stretch marks? Yep, again, same ones on my hips and butt.  Thankfully so far I haven’t gotten any on my stomach!

Sleep: I think until I deliver I won’t be able to get comfortable.  I’ve come to terms with it and embracing it haha!

Best moment this week: This week we celebrated Thanksgiving!  My mother in law and brother in law came up ( and down) to celebrate with us.  Can you believe it, I didn’t take not one single photo!  I was so disappointed in myself because my husband made the most delicious meal for us all.  He literally cooked our entire Thanksgiving meal and he did such an amazing job!  Oh my goodness, the turkey he made looked like something off of t.v., it was beautiful and I’m kicking myself in the butt for not taking any photos! Grr… anyways, we have so much to be thankful for this year, number 1 being our baby girl who will be here in just a few short days!  We can’t wait to meet you, little one

My husband and I actually decorated the tree last week, but I finally took a photo of it this week.  The photo doesn’t do the tree justice, it is so beautiful and perfect for our little one to come home from the hospital to!

This week I also made Thank You goodie bags for the nurses who will be there for us at the hospital when I deliver.  I hope they like them!

This week we had an ultrasound where they did measurements on her to get an estimate weight on her.  We got a few photos from the ultrasound and poor thing is SO super smushed in there!  Look at that little smushed in face!  She’s so cute but her and I are both ready! We had a dr. appointment today but since today starts Week 38, Ill give the info we got back from our appointment next week!

My husband got crafty this week and made a Star Wars new sew blanket!  So proud of him, he did a great job and I only helped him a little bit

I purchased cheese cloth a few weeks ago and planned on dyeing them to use for her newborn photoshoot but it sat there and sat there and sat there.  Finally last night I got impatient (I haven’t been able to find dye) so I decided to dye them with what I could find around the kitchen and I am so happy with how they turned out!

I ended up using a jello box, tea bags, cranberries and random jellies that we had in our fridge.  I think just using what I had, they turned out pretty great!  I can’t wait to use them.

Labor Signs: Daily cramping for sure, and for some reason mostly at night time…not exactly sure why.  Im hoping me cramping is me dilating and getting ready for baby girl to be here!

Symptoms: Same as before, maybe added cramps and starting to feel super tired again…

Belly Button in or out? Level but half way out…

Wedding rings on or off? Off

Happy or Moody most of the time: Both, for sure both.  I’d say my moodiness has to do with lack of sleep and my uncomfortableness…. hang in there with me babe haha sorry!

Looking forward to: I’m looking forward to having our baby here and watching my husband hold and love on our daughter.  I am so super nervous for the pain of labor and delivery and its scary not knowing what to expect but I am also super ready and excited to meet our daughter!

Thanks for reading XOXO Love Always, Miyuki
