Baby Angel Progress- Week 22

Not to much went on this week, it felt great to be home and not on the go.  I caught up on some much needed rest and went on a sewing spree.  I feel like my belly grew so much from last week to this week!

How far along? 22 Weeks. August 12th, 2015

Total weight gain/loss: I’m starting to hate this question….so I’ll weigh myself in the am and update this one.  It’s 7:42pm and I just ate dinner so I don’t think my weight will be very accurate…

Maternity clothes? Yes, a few items but I also still manage to wear a few regular clothes still like some shirts, skirts, and dresses.

Stretch marks? No new ones, same as before.  The ones I have don’t seem to be getting any darker which I’m happy about.

Sleep: This week has been super crappy.  I wake up so many times in the middle of the night to either go to the bathroom, change position or because my back hurts.  Not to mention I swear i have PTSD from my previous “pregnancy dreams” that it takes me FOREVER to be able to fall asleep.  I’v had to take a few naps through out the week to catch up but I’m hoping next week is much better.

Best moment this week: Well, a highlight for me are the nights when my hubby reads to Azalea.  I love it, absolutely love it.  I usually take a photo of him reading to her but this past week I didn’t, next week ill for sure get one.  It’s so adorable.

I upped my sewing game and made Baby Angel this beautiful blanket with a trim!  My first time adding a trim and I was so super happy with how it turned out.  One side is regular bottom material and the other is flannel.

Last week I made fabric letters, this week I made fabric numbers.  They will make great soft toys and when she is older awesome learning tools.

And of course I just can’t help myself but to continue sewing her blankets.   She has soo many now its ridiculous.

Oh yeah, I also started making baby toys!  I made these adorable colored fabric blocks for her to play with and again, will be used as a learning tool when she is older.  I got the idea from Pinterest but put my own twist on it by making them color coordinated- they turned out SO cute!

Over the weekend hubbs and I hit up a few yardsales and we scored a bunch of vintage and handmade baby clothes for free!  What ever wasn’t taken was going to get hauled to goodwill! SCORE!  These clothes are in MINT condition and are so so so cute!  Azalea will be stylin’ in some adorable vintage clothes and I can’t wait!

This week we also finished our baby registry.  We registered at babies R us, amazon.com and buy buy baby.  A few days ago we did our buy buy baby registry which as our last one we needed to do.

Labor Signs: None, BUT I think i felt my first 2 braxton hicks the other night.  I was just laying in bed when out of nowhere I got a super sharp pain in my stomach…so bad I had to hold my breathe till it was over then it happened again then after that I haven’t felt anything like it…. Im guessing that was what it was but I’m not sure…

Symptoms: This is getting repetitive lol….. Sadly, I’m still nauseous every day. My hands and feel swell and my hands ache like crazy at times.

Belly Button in or out? In, but even more so then last week I can tell the depth of it is getting more shallow…

Wedding rings on or off? Off, I can’t wait for the day to be able to wear them again… I miss them.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy

Looking forward to: Our baby shower!  We just got our invites in and have sent them out today!  I am NOT looking forward to my dr. appointment next Monday.  I hate needles so much and I have to get a TB test done AND get the slip for the glucose test…eff that.  SO not looking forward to that AT ALL. I am also a super bad worrier so I am so scared for the results to come back… getting gestational diabetes is probably one of my worst fears at the moment….but I’m trying to stay as positive as I can!

Thanks for reading! XOXO Love Always, Miyuki
